I am currently in Singapore for Zone Conference. I don't have my journal with me so this last week is pretty much a big fat blur.
On Thursday we had another zone blitz. It was finding the whole day, meaning we didn't have lessons or studies, but we all went to a specific companionship's area to help build up their area. Sister Taha (the daughter of Brother Taha in the Masai Branch) is serving in Sibu. I served with her in Miri. She recognized a lady that was working in a shop. It turned out to be a less active member from the Masai Branch. Then, 3 hours later, me and Elder Delis found that SAME person walking around in a different area with her family. Soooo cool!!
On Saturday we had our Branch Christmas party. The missionaries were in charge of decoration. Don't ever leave that job to us! This is what it will turn out like!
Elder Cox and I along with another sister companionship sang "Oh Holy Night." it was amazing. Remember the Saviors birth!
For those of you who are following President Russel M. Nelson's invitation to read the Book of Mormon before the end of the year, let us remember the promise of an increase of faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. He is the reason for this season. He is the light and the life of the world. He is the Prince of Peace. There is no other person, way, or thing that can compare. I love my Savior.
"What gift am I willing to give to the Savor for His gift of sacrifice for me?
It can be a gift of being more humble, spending more time with your family or in the scriptures, or following His Church. He is waiting and willing to help you improve.
